Coriander Essential Oil

Coriander Essential Oil is steam distilled from the seeds of Coriandrum Sativum, its leaves are commonly known as Cilantro. It is said that Coriander originated in Persia and was used as a fragrance in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Both ancient Egyptians and Greeks considered this earthy, yet sweet plant to be an aphrodisiac and would also use it to flavor their wines. This herbaceous and citrusy plant is very versatile and has many uses and benefits. The oil that is extracted from the seeds is both invigorating and therapeutic. It’s reported to be useful in treating indigestion, nausea, muscular fatigue, and pain. Coriander Essential oil also does wonders for promoting skin health.
